I was launching USB loader from the Wii menu to play something when this error popped up. I think it might've had something to do with my nephew playing a game from a disc while the USB was still in, I'm not sure, but the disc wasn't in when I was launching USB loader. How it looks like is the normal screen of the loader shows up for a few seconds, then it goes black for like 10 seconds, then a wall of text (I'll send it below) appears with 'reloading in 5 seconds', and after said 5 seconds 'reload' appears, then it stays like that. I have to pull the plug to turn off my Wii. I tried switching which port the USB is in, didn't work.
'Exception: DSI occurred' help! So I was running a homebrew UNO game I had, and I got that message plus this 'code dump' stuff and I'm stuck on that black screen. If anyone has any answers, I would love the support.
This occurs even when there's no USB drive in, so it's something with my console. Launching it through Homebrew channel instead mentions something about IOS 222 v4 and 249 v9. I then tried to install them again through the installer I first used while installing homebrew, but my Wii remote disconnects permanently on the screen with the warning about the programmer not being responsible for damage to my wii. Again have to pull the plug.
I THEN read somewhere that I have to reinstall IOS236 with another program to fix the controller disconnecting which I did, didn't help. I'll now check the guide I used when I first installed homebrew to see if there's other ways to install 222 and 249.
First off Im completely new to this. Of course, thats what the forums for right?
